    This is the view from the fifth floor, two-bedroom, two bath Penthouse at Marina del Rey. It has a great view of the beach and marina. The rental is $800 for one week Monday-Monday or $1200 beginning on Friday, Saturday or Sunday (Occupancy 6/8)

    There are also one-bedroom condos (sleep 4/6) available here in January, February and March for as little as $650 per week (or less if you want more than one week) and $550 per week for April through the Fall.

    Jim and Mary Kline have several weeks available this year in one and two bedroom condos at Marina El Cid Beach Hotel and Yacht Club, one of the premier Five-Star resorts on Mazatlan's Gold Coast, and Marina del Rey, a luxury condo located several blocks from El Cid on a secluded part of the beach. We also have a Junior Suite at Pueblo Bonito and some one-bedroom condos at Marina del Rey, just up the beach. At Marina El Cid we have one, two or three bedroom/bathroom units that are truly elegant. The Pueblo Bonito condo is luxurious Junior Suite with two double beds, a kitchenette, a living room with a sofa bed, and a balcony. The Marina Del Rey condo has a large bedroom with two double beds and exquisitely furnished dining and living areas. The living room has a queen-sized sofa bed. All three condos have ocean views and are on the beach. You may rent two units for one week or one unit for one or two weeks. The Marina del Rey and Pueblo Bonito rate is $700 per week and rent from Monday to Monday. (The off-season rate is $650-550 per week April-September). Marina El Cid rents for $700 Junior suite, $1000 one-bedroom (sleeps 4-6); $1400 two bedroom, two bath (sleeps 6-8); and $3000 three bedroom, three bath (sleeps 6-10). SAVE $100 OR MORE PER WEEK FOR THE SUMMER AND FALL MONTHS AT EL CID!! El Cid rents from Saturday to Saturday, Sunday to Sunday, or Monday to Monday.     Thanks for the inquiry.

    The Marina is a Mediterranean style resort, that is low-rise, with spacious balconies. The several buildings form a semi-circle around the two pools and the yacht basin. The beach is 300-400 meters away to the north of the marina entrance breakwater, and guests gain access to the beach on a pontoon boat shuttle that runs constantly across the basin (150-200 meters, 3-5 minute trip). There is a multi-purpose building at the beach belonging to the resort for dances, weddings, special events, and there are palapas there for the guests. because the south end of the beach is not accessible because of the breakwater, the north beach is very quiet and relaxing. The ubiquitous beach venders work the south side of the marina. El Cid Marina guests have use of all of the mega resort's amenities in all four locations--golf tennis, gyms, etc., with free transportation from one to the other. There is even a small medical clinic located at the marina, and of course, there is the sport-fising fleet, with half-day and all-day fishing trips.

    The interior of all the units has white tile motif. There is a small kitchen and a large bathroom. The one-bedroom unit has a king-sized bed in the bedroom and two single bed sofas that convert to beds easily (no pull-out with the infamous bar in the middle). The balcony (patio for the first floor) overlooks the yacht basin and ocean. The highest floor is the fifth, and of course, it has the best view. Junior suites have two double beds and the sleep sofas. Two-bedroom units are adjoining one bedroom and junior suite units, so there are two kitchens and two baths.

    I rent the one-bedrooms for $1200 USD during the winter season and $950 for the off-season (late April -October). Ordinarily I ask for half at the time of confirmation and the balance 30 days prior to occupancy. About 2/3 of the rental can be put on a credit card, if you wish. with the balance by personal or cashier's check. Upon confirmation, the property management company, FairShare, will mail you a Guest Certificate to present at check in. Rentals can start on any day of the week; however, it is much easier to find availability beginning on Saturdays, Sundays, or Mondays. Fewer days than a week can be arranged as well as additional days.
