Marina del Rey is located at the Marina, at the north end of the "Gold Coast." The apartment is luxurious, and the beach is secluded. However, you are just a short two-and-a-half-peso bus ride from downtown Mazatlan. Or more thrilling yet--take one of the open air taxis!

The public bus system is great. The bus runs in front of Parisio del Mar, Vidafel, and Marina del Rey about every 15 minutes from 5:00 am until 10:00 pm. The cost is about 35 cents to downtown Mazatlan. The drivers are courteous and helpful.
